The CHDK firmware add-on is being researched for the Canon PowerShot SD30 digital camera.

This is a 5.0 megapixel compact camera that runs the DiGiC II image processor chip. It may be possible for the CHDK firmware to be ported over to it. The Platform ID for this camera is 30f4.

The first known dump of the firmware for this camera is version 1.00G and is available on http://www.zshare.net/download/108840307066cb05/ It was achieved using udumper.exe

Note: This download is not a build of CHDK. So far, it is only being researched and may be ported in the future.

When getting the firmware version of this camera, besides requiring an empty file called "ver.req" on the memory card, the 'func. set' and flash buttons have to be pressed (unlike some other models).
